Skoura

Skoura is a lush palm oasis on the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Its ancient kasbahs stand amid date palm groves, and the nearby Dades Valley offers some of Morocco's most spectacular gorge scenery.

The Kasbah of Amridil, visible from the main road, is one of the most photographed buildings in Morocco. But Skoura's real charm lies in its quietness, in the shade of the palms, in the sound of water running through irrigation channels that have served this oasis for centuries.
