The Artisan Trail: Craft & Culture
Ten days following the hands of Morocco's master craftsmen — tanners, zellige artists, woodcarvers, and weavers.
Morocco's artisan tradition is one of the deepest in the world — and it remains very much alive. This itinerary is built around the workshops themselves: tanneries, zellige ateliers, carpet looms, brass hammerers, and thuya wood-carvers. You will meet the masters, touch the work in progress, and buy directly from the hands that made it.
Between workshops, the route winds through medinas, riads, and coastal towns — each the setting in which these traditions flourish — with time for tea, conversation, and finding the pieces that will carry Morocco home with you.
